Excellent food and service. My friend and I ordered the onion soup and it was phenomenal! We also ordered the filet and they came out perfect! The quality of the food was excellent and the price really wasn’t that bad since it was such a nice setting. Quiet. Intimate. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice dining experience!

Wedding! Wedding reception food was outstanding, set up perfect, staff attentive and helpful, rooms were comfortable. Setting beautiful and quiet. We were able to supplement accommodations with rooms at the Inn at Woodstock. All perfect!!!

Absolutely perfect in every way! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew this was THE place. This was actually the first venue we toured, and my daughter immediately fell in love - no need to look anywhere else! The Mansion at Bald Hill is simply stunning. The atmosphere is elegant yet intimate and quaint, creating exactly the ambiance we dreamed of for such a special day. The staff has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process - professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. Even the drive to the venue is breathtaking with gorgeous scenic views that set the tone before you even arrive. The outdoor fire pit area with seating is a beautiful touch, and the entire property is picture-perfect. We cannot wait to celebrate my daughter’s wedding at this incredible venue! If I could give 1000 out of 10 stars, I would. For anyone searching for a wedding venue that combines beauty, charm, exceptional service, and a truly magical atmosphere - look no further. This is it!

10/10! We were here for a wedding this weekend. The room was very clean and well-stocked with toiletries in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing! We were served a yogurt parfait, and eggs with bacon/toast on the first morning and fresh fruit, a scone, and French toast the second morning. Joel also gave us great recommendations for daytime activities nearby. We would happily return!

Came for brunch with the family last weekend. The food was absolutely superb. The servers were friendly and attentive, the inside of the mansion (including the bathroom) was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere in the dining room was cozy and inviting. We are looking forward to coming back again to try their dinner offerings.

Beautiful grounds, venue, and ceremony area! We had our wedding here in September, and it truly could not have been a more perfect day. From the moment we toured the property, we knew this was the place for us. Everything was so well-maintained, and fit everything we were looking for. The staff were amazing and Janet, the coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She was so helpful, patient, and communicative throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself. She made sure every little detail came together exactly how we imagined it. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how seamless the day felt. It was everything we hoped for and more. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out!

If you're looking for a low stress wedding venue that offers incredible value (or just an amazing restaurant or weekend getaway), look no further. We held our wedding at The Mansion at Bald Hill on September 28, 2025, and couldn't have asked for a better experience! We started looking at venues in mid March, hoping to find a place that could host a smallish wedding with an outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, and full food and drink services without sky high prices or hidden fees. I even built a spreadsheet comparing every option within a 50-mile radius, and The Mansion at Bald Hill definitely stood out. Many venues had undisclosed minimums, surprise costs, or odd restrictions, but the Mansion had none of that. It was transparent, elegant, and far more accommodating than we expected. We toured three venues total, saving the Mansion for last — honestly thinking it might be out of our price range or require too many guests. But as soon as we drove up the winding road and saw the gorgeous grounds, we started crossing our fingers. After our tour with Janet, the events director, and her clear breakdown of the options and pricing, we got in the car, looked at each other, and said, "Yep, this is it!" No discussion needed. In the months leading up to the wedding, Janet was an absolutely wonderful to work with — responsive, organized, and genuinely kind. She answered every question promptly, accommodated all of our requests, and went above and beyond to make our day seamless. On the wedding day itself, she and the entire staff exceeded every expectation. The food was phenomenal, the bar and banquet teams were attentive and friendly, and every detail from setup to timing, was handled perfectly. Choosing The Mansion at Bald Hill was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that's stunning, stress free, and run by people who truly care about making your day special. Side note: Their restaurant deserves its own rave review! The food is amazing and reasonably priced, and their scones are genuinely the best I’ve ever had. I don’t generally like scones, but theirs are absolutely worth a try.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding at the Mansion and we cannot recommend it enough! The attention to detail, the dedication of the staff and owners to making the whole experience smooth and memorable, the beauty of the venue, and the quality of the food all make this a top tier wedding venue. All of our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the atmosphere and the quality of the experience. The variety of options for menus (plated and buffet) give great variety for many different budgets. The restaurant and hotel rooms in the mansion on the property are also fantastic, and made things so convenient for us before and after the wedding. If we could do it all over again, we would absolutely choose the Mansion again. Even if you are not planning a wedding, the restaurant has amazing food and a great atmosphere that is not to be missed. Being situated in the middle of the woods, the privacy and peacefulness of this venue is second to none.
